This past month was filled with wins, realizations and MAJOR doses of priority checks along the way.

I filmed season 2 of Business Talks (scheduled to air on Bell TV1 in late January 2017), led several workshops and speaking engagements, celebrated the birthday of my loves: my daughter and partner AND worked on a new program I’ll be launching very soon! #teamsuccessin2017

Suffice to say, November was a BUSY month!

It forced me to make some serious choices:

  • Choices related to how I was going to productively spend my time so I could get things done.
  • Choices around what I could handle on my own and what I needed to release control of in order to achieve my best results.
  • Choices around what I was going to make a priority and what would need to invariably wait until a later date.

This month required that I be intentional about working in my strengths with authenticity, passion and purpose. My team, family and clients required that I show up and give my best and I had no intention of not delivering.

Truth talk: You can’t be productive and purposeful when you’re working out of alignment with your strengths.

Trying to overcompensate on your weaknesses will have you doubting your capabilities, your confidence and ultimately your ability to deliver on what you’ve promised.

When you work in the areas that strengthen you, you give way to your gifts, talents and natural abilities and allow others to be blessed by your greatness.

My challenge to you this week:

Write down 1-2 of the weaknesses you need to release the need to “work on” and instead note 2-3 things you do well that could be strengthened if your invested the time and energy.

Take note of the things that give you #life this week and be conscious of the areas that have you doubting your value. Make an intentional effort to work in your strengths and give up the need to “fix” your weaknesses. Instead, learn to receive help from those who want your best!

What is ONE result you’d like to see open up in your life this month as a result of working in your strengths?

Tell me about it in the comments below!
